If you or someone you love has been diagnosed with cancer, you may feel overwhelmed, scared, or lonely. You may have many questions, concerns, or emotions that you don’t know how to deal with. You may feel like no one understands what you are going through.
That’s why we want to invite you to join our cancer support group, a place where you can share your feelings, experiences, and challenges with other people who understand what you are going through. Our support group is open to anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer, as well as their family members, friends, and caregivers.
A cancer support group is a group of people who meet regularly to offer emotional, social, and practical support to each other. A cancer support group can provide you with many benefits, such as:
Reducing stress, anxiety, and depression
Improving your mood, self-esteem, and quality of life
Learning coping skills and strategies
Getting information and advice on various aspects of cancer care
Finding hope and comfort
Making new friends and connections
Our support group meets at the Palms Sports Bar, situated at Av Europa, San Eugenio Alto. We offer a safe, confidential, and supportive environment where you can express yourself freely, learn from others, and find hope and comfort.
Our support group is free of charge and open to anyone who wants to join. You do not need to register or commit to attend every session. You can come as often as you like, whenever you feel like you need some support.
We hold a monthly Open Meeting where everyone is welcome to participate. These meetings convene at 6 pm (18:00 hrs) sharp on the FIRST Monday of each month. Our current meeting location is at the Palms Sports Bar, situated at Av Europa, San Eugenio Alto. However, we advise visitors to check our Facebook Page for any updates or changes regarding the meeting venue.
We hope to hear from you soon and see you at our next meeting.
